Longboards are the catch-all board for young and old, new and experienced. Some of the salty loggers you see at your local point break have never put anything shorter than 9'0" under their feet. There's a perfectly good reason for that; their motto is "no wave left behind."
Another year in the books and we're on our way to surpassing our last year's fundraising by a strong margin! If you look around at all the faces in the shop, there's still pink foreheads, salty red eyes and waxy knees.
We’re currently looking for someone that’s got all the finesse and style needed to truly exemplify what our longboards are all about. To date, we have the noserider prowess of Brian Palacios and the young raw talent of Dylan Kaiser. We’re looking for a longboarder that makes Alex Knost look goofy and Bongo Perkins look like he’s working too hard.
A month later and the smile still remains. The fond reflection of the camaraderie still resonates deep in our hearts. More than 150 men, women and kids came together for a singular cause and came out more than victorious, more than excited, more than satisfied.
At Degree33 Surfboards, we're a company built on stoke. In one way or another, we've found a love for the ocean that many never get a chance to find. Our mission has been to give others a better chance at finding the same love and stoke. When we heard about the 100 Wave Challenge, the message rang well beyond fundraising
Apologies for not posting last week, we kept your gear at the front of the to-do list. Now that those boards are on their way to proud new owners, we have a little taste of what's to come and we'd like to offer a little nibble.
We had a guy come and buy a board from us the other day and he told us an interesting but sad story.
He had just the week before bought a board from another retailer, took the board out, surfed it, and didn't like the way it rode at all. When he tried to take it back to them to exchange it they said, "Sorry we cant take back used boards."
