The NexGen Hanger Longboard Surfboard

Some people live for competition. Whether it’s the thrill of being the best in the water or the rush of endorphins and adrenaline when you look back and see just how much you’ve progressed, sometimes it’s that feeling of mastery that drives us to become even greater.

The Hanger Longboard was designed as an expert board. No two bones about it—and if you live for the challenge of surfing, if you love fighting the ocean for mastery, then this is one tool you want in your quiver.

We built this board rail to rail, from the highest performance material we could find—out of hundreds of potential combinations of materials available to us—and that’s NexGen. NexGen lays claim to the unique ability to reap the benefits of both Epoxy and Fiberglass construction. Its durable (not quite as durable as our standard epoxy but close), it’s got the gentle flex of fiberglass, and it’s lighter than either material could ever dream of being.

The extra lightness translates into float, and easier paddling—which we further enhanced with our bottom concaves.

The flat midsection cuts your drag in the water and gives you the maximum power per paddle, this fades into a deep single channel with beveled rails—which pulls water away from the rails and gives you the entire board to play with, without killing your speed.

At the tail of the board, you’ll see a double concave pulling water towards your fins so your board will not only be more responsive in the water, but also more precise. We coupled this with a round pin tail to mellow out your turns and give you even more turn and control.

Most importantly, we have the fatty nose concave. This little mama lays down the suction at the nose so you can lock in and steer your board from the tip without having to look over your shoulder for the wipeout.
 
Capable of dealing with pretty much any waves you throw at it, the Hanger rocks a 2+1 for a little added versatility.
