Fiberglass Surfboards... Classic in look and feel

Traditional fiberglass surfboards (aka poly or PU or classic) have been around for over 60 years. They are the standard surfboard construction. Polyester foam blank, wood stringer, fiberglass cloth, and polyurathane resin.

Classic in look and feel means that when you stand on your surfboard the response will be predictable and smooth. A heavier construction compared to epoxy or NexGen a poly board will sit lower in the water and cut through the chop better. They also have a different flex pattern, commonly called a pure flex, that allows a better performace standard. This is why a lot of seasoned surfers prefer this construction of others.
