
A great surfboard is somewhat of a mythical creature (except with Degree33… all their boards rock!). That’s why when we find one we call it the “magic board”. So I thought, “What other things are mythical and elusive?” And I found all these similarities to unicorns. Here are my top 7!
1. Made of candy.
Little known fact: Unicorns taste like Mentos. The freshmaker.
I didn’t say it was good candy.
2. Grants you to power to fire rainbows out of your skull.

Traveling with a surfboard on a plane is like trying to get home from the grocery store without breaking any eggs. Most the time you’ll be ok but every now and then you break every one… LAME! So here’s a quick how-to on packing your surfboard to be “luggage handler proof”… or at least as close as it can be.

Strength, balance, and flexibility are essential, not only to great surfing, but in giving yourself the best chances of staying healthy and avoiding injury.
I think we all can understand why balance is so important when it comes to surfing but I think sometimes we underestimate the importance of strength and flexibility.
